Setting up your telephone extension on Entity's Cloud Softphone

"Why would I need a softphone?", you may ask. "What is a softphone anyways?"

Those are perfectly valid questions.

In short, a softphone is an app which allows you to make and receive phone calls from your mobile phone or computer without the person you're calling finding out your personal mobile number.

In the new world of Zoom, Meet and Teams calls, it's becoming increasingly difficult to keep an organisational identity and this can get quite easily resolved by way of a softphone.

A softphone simply requires your device to have very basic Internet connectivity to have high-quality calling - even if you don't have great mobile coverage.

Through our systems, we can even present another number (if you can prove that you own it) to those you are calling!

If you have signed the agreement to use our Cloud Softphone, you will have received a welcome email with the details for downloading and setting it up.

In the case where you have lost your welcome email, or if you would like a free email with your login details you can request your details by submitting your email on the form below. If your email address is listed, you will receive an up-to-date copy of your details within a few minutes.

Once you have received your email, you will be able to set up your device, whether it's an Android or iOS device, to stay in touch and work on-the-go. You will need to
  1. Download the Android or iOS App.
  2. Open your Cloud Softphone App and enter your Cloud ID and Password, or tap on "Scan QR" to provision your app using the QR code.
